Most residential installs finish in one day. Larger projects take two to three days depending on prep needed and total square footage.
No. Our crew handles removal of existing grass and weeds, grading, and topsoil where needed as part of standard prep.
Wait two to three weeks after installation before the first mow, once the roots have knit into the soil. After that: Bermuda about once a week at 1 to 1.5 inches, Zoysia every 7 to 10 days at 1.5 to 2 inches, St. Augustine about once a week at 2.5 to 4 inches, Centipede every 10 to 14 days at 1.5 to 2 inches. Never remove more than a third of the blade in one mowing.
It comes down to sun, traffic, and how much care you want to do. Full sun with heavy foot traffic or pets: Bermuda. Full sun with low maintenance: Centipede. Shade or mixed sun: St. Augustine. Medium sun with a fine blade family lawn feel: Zoysia. If you are not sure, send us a photo of your yard with the quote request and we will point you to the best fit.
